Template synthesis, activation and energy storage application of porous carbon materials

Abstract

Porous carbon materials prepared by template synthesis has attracted much attention because of their promising applications in energy-related fields. The recent development of template synthesis was reviewed in details. And traditional activation method, which was applied to further tune pore structures of carbon materials prepared via template method was also introduced. Porous carbons used as hydrogen storage materials and electrode materials for supercapacitors were commented.
