Abstract
In underwater mines, it is important to use the hydrodynamic fuse. It is just the purpose of this paper to develop the surface target classification in the mine's hydrodynamic fuse. The two major contributions are as follows: (1) In order to deal with this problem, a new approach of combining fuzzy set theory statistic methods is proposed, and the authors discuss its preprocessing, feature extraction and selection, fuzzy-statistical function, and algorithm. (2) With this approach, the problem pattern is separated into three subpatterns, target speed, size and range pattern; the relation among subpatterns is analyzed, and then the multiple level model for classification is constructed. The results of the simulations and experiments are given to show that the approach presented is flexible, uncomplicated, quickly sortable, and easily implemented.
