System optimization-oriented dynamic spares configuration method

Aiming at the problem of spare inventory supplement occasion and configuration program, a dynamic spare configuration method based on system optimization is presented. Firstly, the method of determining dynamic occasion for replenishing spares is presented by using the system supply availability as a measure; then the spares configuration optimization model based on the marginal analysis is built through taking the system supply availability and spares cost as the optimization target and constraints. The paper gives an example, and the spare configuration method based on system optimization and the method based on single spare, which is used generally in China, are compared. The comparative result verifies the benefit of the presented method.
