Abstract

The parameters of morphing aircraft change in a wide range, and the model is uncertainty and nonlinear. In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a linear parameter-varying (LPV) model was established through taking the sweepback angle as the parameter variable, and the time-varying parameter region was divided into several parameter areas. With the concept of weighting coefficient and parameter overlapped area and through the solution of linear matrix inequalitys (LMIs), a set of LPV controllers were established. In addition, the switching strategy was designed through taking the morphing variable as the decision variable. Aiming at the Firebee longitudinal channels, the switching LPV controller was designed. The simulated results show that the switching between LPV models established with the overlapped parameter area can be realized quickly and stably. Moreover, the morphing aircraft exhibits good anti-interference ability of attack angle in the morphing process with the proposed approach.
