Study on vaporization rate of a mini Γ-vaporizer under atmospheric pressure condition

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Experimental study of vaporizing characteristics of a mini engine's 'Γ' type vaporizer was presented. The experiments were conducted under the atmospheric air pressure. The main factors of the vaporization rates including the Air/Fuel Ratio (AFR), vaporizer inlet air temperature and the velocity of the airflow within the vaporizer were studied extensively. From the test results, it can be concluded that the AFR and the vaporizer inlet temperature are the important parameters to the fuel vaporization rates, and the increasing of the AFR and the inlet air temperature will cause an increase of the vaporization ratio.
