Abstract
The advance in the study on the dynamic plastic response and the failure of structure modeling the aerospace vehicle subjected to intense dynamic loading are reviewed. Attention is focused on the basic research progress by using rigid-perfectly plastic and elastic-perfectly plastic models as well as the relevant experimental observations.
