Study on steering simulation and amenity of ejection seat

Abstract

An approach for local size modification on generated model was adopted based on the manikin library of Poser software, and the 3D static manikins of Chinese male pilots at the seated positions of the 5th, 50th and 95th were established, insuring the veracity of the main parts of the human body. Secondly, the ejection seat model was imported to 3Dmax, and an " ejection seat -control equipment " model was established, according to geometry size of plane cabin and control equipment. At last, utilizing the theory means of ergonomics, an " ejection seat -pilot-control equipment " system model was established. After establishing the system model, a movement simulation and analysis for the pilot was taken, which provided a visual platform for the amenity analysis of the ejection seat.
