Abstract

Normal acidizing treatment is difficult to acidify deeply due to the deep buried carbonate and complex lithologic reservoirs distributing extensively in HuaBei oilfield. To overcome the difficulties, new low damage clean acidizing fluid system and injecting technology were optimized that could extend acidizing distance, which having good retardant (65% of hydrochloric acid, 80 °C), breaking gel (32% of normal and 20% of guar gum fracturing fluid) and lubricant properties, and this system performed well on field application of Hu X well.
