Abstract

Missile pylons are the important structural components, which connect airplanes and missiles. Estimating their loading and life cycle is necessary for safety and reliability of airplane and missile. The method of load measurement is presented through the analysis based on the strain gauge installation and calibration for a missile pylon. The constitutive model of component of missile pylon is carried out by load calibration test for the structural. The relationship between the load input and strain output is experimentally determined. And, its correlation about the data acquisition and data processing of typical flying profiles is estimated by the multiple linear regression method. At the same time, the load-time history, which can offer important references for load measurement, life estimation, simulation test and shortening the cycle of development of the missile pylon, is indicated in this work.
