Abstract
A model reference adaptive system (MRAS) controller was designed for airborne variable pressure hydraulic power system based on augmented error stability theory, and the bad effect of inaccurate system parameter evaluation without parameter online measurement on system's steady or dynamics performance was reduced. The system is thus adapted to the value variance of soft parameters, including comprehensive bulk elastic modulus, bulk of system controlled high pressure cavity and leakage coefficient, and the system output pressure is able to follow the reference input stably and more accurately. The adaptability of the mentioned control strategy to the system is verified by the results of associated simulations and experiments.
