Abstract

Autonomous decision-making is an essential technique for uninhabited combat aerial vehicles. The trial maneuver scheme of autonomous decision-making system was improved in close-in air combat. A trigger mechanism for decision-making was proposed for adapting the rapid change of the situation. The decision-making time was adjustable and decided by the change of the situation. A tactical process evaluating scheme based on level-by-level elimination was presented in order to select the best trial maneuver. The functions of trigger mechanism for decision-making and rationality of tactical process evaluation were validated by simulations.
