Study of optical fiber density sensor in double optical routes

Abstract

The principle and method of measuring liquid density according the optical fiber bending loss are introduced. Using double-optical routes structure and data fitting technique, the density of salt water was measured actually. The results shows that this technique can be used to measure the microregion density and has high accuracy.
