Abstract

In this paper, we present a simple and efficient method on channel allocation in downlink distributed wireless communication system (DWCS). The analysis and results show that based on this method DWCS significantly outperforms conventional cellular systems in channel capacity. It overcomes the drawback of the cellular system's lower performance of cell boundary users and the channel capacity is increased with higher antennas density.
