Abstract

Adopting the scheme of secondary injection, the cold flow tests of the aerospike nozzle were operated on different operating modes for thrust vector control. In experiment, the related factors such as the mass flow rate, angle, position, quantity of the spraying hole and area of the hole export etc, were studied for the thrust control vector. Analysis for test data shows a good thrust vector effect with the method of secondary injection in high altitude, but in the ground conditions the side direction force is smaller. Working parameter of the secondary injection and environmental pressure influence the side direction force greatly. The thrust vector control scheme of the second injection can add the axial force.
