Abstract

In order to fulfill the aircraft manufactories' practical needs and give support to the design, analysis and manufacture of the aircraft skin stretch process, the aircraft skin stretch forming knowledge base, which is based on B/S architecture, has been developed. JBuilder2005 and Dorado5 have been used as the main developing tools. Oracle9i has been used as the database management system. This knowledge base has several modules, including material property module, process design and analysis module, process examination module, etc. Many key technologies, such as the upload and download of files, the interface for the numerical process design system-ASSFCAE, and the process matching or illation based on knowledge, have been worked out. It has been proved by the practical use that this knowledge base has many useful and important functions, such as skin process examination and providing information and parameters for the process analysis. Therefore, this knowledge base has been highly valued.
