Abstract

To satisfy requirements of economizing network bandwidth, optimizing resource distribution, load balancing, and off-line service supporting, the simulation service migration mechanism based on mobile agent and context-aware technologies was proposed. To realize management of simulation service migration lifecycle, the simulation service migration agent and its interior composing were defined, three kinds of interfaces for cooperating with outside, and common interfaces of simulation service and client correlative with migration were designed. Then, a simulation service migration strategy based on context- aware was proposed. Finally, an exemplification of simulation service migration in pervasive simulation grid was given.
