Strange hadrons in lattice QCD

Abstract

We make a Monte Carlo simulation to extract the values of the masses of some strange mesons and baryons within lattice QCD. Squared meson masses depend linearly upon quark masses and a splitting with the correct sign, but still too small, of the Σ-Λ baryons is observed.
