Abstract
A three-parameter model for real-time simulation of the ocean backscattering coefficient was proposed. The generation functions for Weibull, Log-Normal and K-distribution sea clutter were developed. Parameter fitting and optimization were studied. The output characteristics of the model not only match the statistical mean and standard deviation of the measured data, but also represent specified statistical probability density characteristics. This model can be used for real-time sea clutter simulation in various systems.
