Abstract

The parameters of property of gasoline have a great effect on the combustiom and emissions of gasoline engines. The statistical analysis of relationship between parameters of property of gasoline sold on market was carried out. The linear equations between the density and hydrogen carbon ratio H/C, and the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio for gasoline sold on market were obtained. These equations can calculate hydrogen carbon ratio H/C, stoichiometric air-fuel ratio and so on by measuring density of gasoline. These equations can also improve the precision of thermal analysis, measurement and control of air-fuel ratio of gasoline engines.
