Abstract

Static properties and fatigue properties of unidirectional T800/Y69 composite laminates were determined at room temperature (RT) and 135℃ elevated temperature (ET), and load-displacement and stress-strain curves as well as fatigue residual strength surfaces of unidirectional were obtained. The ET effects on static and fatigue properties and failure mechanism of unidirectional T800/Y69 composite laminates were analyzed and discussed. The results show that elevated temperature adversely affects static and fatigue properties of T800/Y69 composites, and the ET effect on low cycle fatigue property is more significant than that on high cycle fatigue property.
