Abstract

There exist big uncertainties in the process of entry guidance for hypersonic flight vehicle. But for all kinds of guidance approaches, stability analysis method is slightly single. In this paper, based on the singular perturbation theory, we decouple the hypersonic vehicle entry guidance dynamic model into two time-scale model. To analyze the stability of entry flight trajectory tracking guidance, the singular perturbation margin (SPM) index analysis is adopted, comparing to the traditional stability index - phase margin (PM) analysis. Results demonstrate that the analysis results based on singular perturbation theory are more accurate in the stability analysis of trajectory tracking entry guidance.
