Abstract

In this paper, we discuss the software design of a general purposed and flexible 1553B bus test system. It combines the LAN communication, scalable software structure and graphical data display to enhance the practicality, portability and stability of the system. The system is designed for both testing the 1553B terminal before they are connected and finding the fault during the use of the 1553B system. It supports the fault injection to put artificial error to the bus for finding potential failure in the communication system.
