Abstract
The 68 A MeV 11Li + p scattering data are reanalysed in a microscopic framework. The real, imaginary and transition potentials are constructed in a single folding model using an isospin, density and momentum dependent finite-range effective nucleon-nucleon interaction and several microscopic 11Li density distribution prescriptions for 11Li. The transition density is formulated in a soft-dipole resonance mode (SDR) by modifying the Goldhaber-Teller (G-T) model. Analyses of the angular distribution of the 1.3 MeV excited state gives a result consistent with SDR excitation in 11Li with significant channel coupling effect.
