Smart Product-Service Systems and Sustainable Supply Chains Co-design

Research output: Book/ReportBookpeer-review

Abstract

This book provides a comprehensive analysis of sustainable supplier management issues within the context of configuring smart product-service systems (smart PSS). It presents a theoretical framework and implementation path for the collaborative configuration of smart PSS with sustainable suppliers. The book also introduces various decision-making methods to enhance the proposed framework, including state-of-the-art methods, hyper-network clustering methods, and improved bi-level planning optimization algorithms. The author further examines the proposed framework and methods through a case study of the Automatic Guided Vehicle Smart Product-Service System (AGV-Smart PSS) in a smart warehousing scenario. The book explores and analyses the effectiveness of the proposed concepts in real-world applications. The theoretical knowledge, scientific-practical guidance, and case studies presented in this book are valuable resources for researchers, and practitioners involved in sustainable supply chain management and smart PSS. The book aims to offer insights and references that can be applied to similar contexts and provide a foundation for future research and practical implementation.
