Abstract

In this paper, we study small-controllability of a class of two-dimensional discrete-time bilinear systems. Necessary as well as sufficient conditions for small-controllability of the systems are presented. It is shown that the case with complex eigenvalues is important for proving small-controllability, while the case with only real eigenvalues is difficult to deal with. We also raise the small-controllability problem for the continuous-time counterparts of the systems.
