Abstract

For shell-like object scanning with inclined cone beam, it is practical to reconstruct with algebraic reconstruction technology (ART) for its shortage of data. The computer simulation result shows that slice image quality reconstructed with ART is much better than that using filtering back projection previously. By regulating each factor that influences ART algorithm, i. e. suitable initial image and convergence factor, the best image quality can be achieved.
