Abstract
A tactical decision aiding system for modern combat aircraft was proposed based on the cognitive decision process of perception, assessment and decision. The key subsystems of situation assessment and mission planning in the decision aiding system were developed. The structure of situation assessment system was proposed based on blackboard. The algorithm of situation assessment based on Bayesian networks and fuzzy logic was established. The threat level was assessed based on Bayesian networks, and then the relative importance for each threat was evaluated using fuzzy logic. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithms have good effectiveness and increase the degree of decision automation and intelligence.
