Abstract
A single runway ground-hoi ding problem (GHP) model based on discrete-event system (DES) was presented. According to the different conditions influencing the airport runway landing service time, the model was categorized into the deterministic type and the stochastic type. The solving algorithms were given. The runway landing service time, the cost ratio between the airborne delays and the ground-holds were analyzed. The complexity of this algorithm was compared with the conventional algorithms. Simulation experimental results were presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithms. This algorithm was applied to the air traffic flow estimation system of the air force.
