Simulation study of an aero-piston engine with single stage turbocharger

Abstract

The method was introduced for setting up simulation model of an aero-piston engine. The simulation model of an engine with single-stage turbocharger was set up, and the ground performance's simulation computation was finished. The simulation results were coincident with the test data. On the basis of the former works, the high altitude performance simulation was conducted, and the results were consistent with the fly test data.
