Abstract

Through the field research on the material supply system of a processing workshop, this paper finds that there are such problems as material accumulation, messy material placement space and large occupied space in the processing system, which have greatly affected the improvement of production efficiency. In this paper, we use Em-Plant simulation software to model the material supply system, and use the basic method of queuing theory to analyze the average captain, average waiting time and average stay time under steady-state conditions. Simulations were performed and the optimized system was significantly improved.
