Abstract
According to the low accuracy of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation for wideband linear frequency modulation (LFM) signals, a method of DOA estimation based on Radon-Wigner transform (RWT) and multiple signal classification (MUSIC) was proposed. In this method, first the original frequency and the frequency modulation slope were extracted by peak research, with the excellent time-frequency concentration performance of RWT which can eliminate cross interference terms and noise effectively in the background of multiple sources. Then the time-variable direction matrix of signal array was transformed to the fixed direction matrix, and the RWT domain correlation matrix of the sensor array sources was acquired. Finally the MUSIC spatial spectrum analysis algorithm was used to estimate the DOA of signals. The results show that this method based on RWT can estimate DOA efficiently for non-stationary signals.
