Abstract

For problem of ship target segmentation, this paper firstly uses CFAR algorithms, which is based on K-distribution, to segment ISAR images, then applies morphological image processing, to improve segmentation results. Morphological algorithm can not only effectively filter out noise, but also retain original image information. The final step is to remove non-target area. Segmentation experimental results show that the methods given in this article can be effective on ship target segmentation.
