Servo system control based on fuzzy adaptive PID method

Abstract

A fuzzy adaptive PID controller with scale factor was designed for flight simulator servo system, which could fuzzy reason and tune the scale factor and modify parameters of PID controller online through the error and error change rate. By bringing in integral separation control method, it overcomes the fuzzy control method's disability on eliminating static error to some extent and ensures the dynamic performance of the servo system. The method also satisfies the requirement of real-time control of flight simulator. The consequence of simulation indicates that compared with the traditional PID control, the method modifies the dynamic performance and robustness of flight simulator servo system.
