Abstract

In mobile ad hoc networks, participant devices need to cooperate with each other to overcome the individual resource constraint. Dynamic service composition is a promising solution for this problem. This paper proposes a novel approach aiming at enabling dynamic service composition in mobile ad hoc networks. Our approach is built on a service overlay, called Service Forest, which serves as an efficient virtual infrastructure while flexible enough to be adapted to the constantly changing of mobile ad hoc networks. Experiment results shows that our approach performs better than existing solutions.
