Semi-continuous drying of RF gels with supercritical acetone

Abstract

The semi-continuous drying of RF gels with supercritical acetone was studied. With an extremely low catalyst concentration the gels showed low cross linkage and skeleton rigidity to resist the drying shrinkage. It was found that the resulting aerogels have a typical nano-structure.
