SEMG analysis of isometric muscle action of the upper arm by using energy normalized wavelet packet method

Abstract

sEMG analysis is one of the key topics in ergonomics research. The proper method would be better understanding the agronomical characters which concluded from sEMG of some function movements such as isotonic muscle action, isometric muscle action etc. In the present research, the energy normalized wavelet packet method would be applied to the analysis of the upper arm isometric muscle action sEMG. And the results showed that the energy normalized wavelet packet method could be better used to study the characters of sEMG of the isometric muscle actions, which could be better for the supports training and rehabilitation training and other involved issues.
