Abstract

High precision modelling of complex spacecraft requires the effective technique to complete the process. It is common practice to build complex systems from disparate subsystems. Model composition is considered essential in developing heterogeneous complex system models, and especially the composition validity is important to composition. An efficient way enabled the rapid, efficient, and flexible assembly of simulation systems from components of spacecraft models has been developed. A flexible and extensible modelling architecture was built for the modelling and compositing of the spacecraft, which focuses on how models can be linked meaningfully together to build a complex integrated spacecraft model, namely the validation of semantic composability. A semantic composability criteria aimed at spacecraft modelling was proposed. The validation of semantic composability will help users to avoid connection errors, and to avert simulation failure. The modelling framework designing complex spacecraft system with semantic composability criteria was laid down, which truly possessed composition potentialities, because it based on the fact that relationships between atomic system and sub-system are highly set down.
