SEM study on the composite of polypyrrole/polyaniline microtubules

Abstract

Polypyrrole/polyaniline microtubules were prepared by using the chemical method. The influencing factors including ratio of pyrrole/aniline, adding method of aniline, concentration of β-NSA and adding speed of APS were studied through SEM. The results show that the optimum preparing condition of polypyrrole/aniline microtubules is that pyrrole/aniline is 1:3, adding speed of aniline is 1drop/min, concentration of β-NSA is 0.6 mol/L, and adding speed of APS is 0.5 drop/min. Pyrrole controlled the size of polypyrrole/polyaniline microtubules in the process of reaction.
