Abstract
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), known for its high-resolution imaging, faces challenges in confronting electromagnetic jamming, notably deception jamming. This jamming negatively impacts the SAR system by generating false echoes, which distort target shapes, create false targets, and lead to misidentification and positioning errors. In this study, we propose a scheme for suppressing deceptive jamming signals, referred to as an interpulse chaotic frequency agility scheme based on dechirp imaging processing with LFM (ICFAD-LFM). A series of simulation experiments and data analyses further substantiate this claim. The results demonstrate that our scheme effectively defocuses deceptive jamming signals, instead of using complex orthogonal signals, which make the system more efficient and functional.
