Sampled-data control for linear time-delay distributed parameter systems

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

This paper considers the sampled-data control problem of linear time-delay distributed parameter systems (DPSs) described by partial differential equations (PDEs). By utilizing a Lyapunov functional, a sampled-data controller is proposed to stabilize exponentially the time-delay PDE. The stabilization condition is presented in the formulation of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, simulation results of a numerical example are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
