Abstract

Aiming at the tractor semitrailer with liquid hazmat tank, a mathematic model of vehicle rollover is built to reflect its movement response characteristics. Based on the real vehicle parameter, a dynamic simulation model of multi-body vehicle is built in virtual environment of ADAMS. Through the dynamic simulation under two typical work condition-lane-changing and swerving, the rollover law is analyzed systematically under the condition of different vehicle speed and different load, the threshold values of the rollover of tractor semitrailer are gotten. The research conclusion is meaningful on the theoretical guide for the early warning of the risk during the running of the tractor semitrailer with liquid hazmat tank.
