Retraction notice to “Shuffling pathway of anti-twinning in body-centered-cubic metals” [SMM 222/1 (2023) 114999] (Scripta Materialia (2023) 222, (S1359646222004948), (10.1016/j.scriptamat.2022.114999))

This article has been retracted at the request of the Authors and Editor-in-Chief. The article is retracted because new evidence brought forward by the authors around the shuffling anti-twinning process have put into question the interpretation presented in the original manuscript. The authors have determined that the analysis of molecular dynamics presented in the article is erroneous because it reports a one-sided observation. The findings and conclusions, therefore, cannot be considered accurate due to the newly discovered evidence. The authors regret any negative consequences that may have arisen from this matter within the scientific community.
