Abstract

In order to resolve the manufacturing resource discovering and selecting evaluation problems in Manufacturing Grid (MGrid), to reduce the decision-making time of selecting appropriate resources for specific clients and to improve the quality of service (QoS) in MGrid, a library of evaluation indices was established, which included the general evaluation indices, the specific evaluation indices and the individual evaluation indices. The notion of agents-based resource optimization selection evaluation in MGrid was proposed, the architecture model and the particular algorithm were put forward. The experimental results show that proposed model and algorithms are feasible and effective for solving the problems of resource optimization selection in MGrid.
