Resonant frequency recognition and tracking for linear oscillating motor under hydraulic load

Abstract

Linear oscillating motor attracts considerable focus in industrial applications due to its high efficiency and power density. Despite it has maximum efficiency on its resonant frequency, achieving accurate resonant frequency recognition and tracking is difficult, especially under complicated hydraulic load. In this paper, a novel resonant frequency recognition and tracking strategy is proposed for linear oscillating motor to maintain high efficiency performance. In addition, the influence of hydraulic and nonlinear features of electromagnetic parameters are taken into considerations for frequency prediction. Based on this method, simulations and analysis are conducted for validation, which provides an effective way to enhance efficiency performance of linear oscillating motors.
