Research status and prospect of transition technologyfor ramjets

The transition technology of ramjets is a critical problem for the development of supersonic and hypersonic vehicles. The research status of the transition technology for ramjets, the selections of different aerodynamic schemes, inlet flow analysis technology, and transition time sequence design method during the ramjets'transition process are reviewed. Recent progress in this aspect are reviewed. Problems in recent research on scramjets' transition technology, numerical simulation and ground tests are pointed out. At last, prospects on the future study of this technology were presented.
