Abstract

This paper describes the parameterized modeling method of the stator end of large turbine generator units. The parametric expressions are given for the end windings of the upper and lower layers, etc. The 3D assembly model of generator stator end with adjustable parameters is established, so that the selection of model structure components and the modification of geometric parameters can be quickly and simply completed for the model. Furthermore, through the ANSYS software. this article analyzes the influences of various parameters on the vibration characteristics of the stator end, including the geometrical parameters, support parts, boundary conditions and material parameters. The results show that most of the parameters have little influence on main vibration shapes, but have obvious influence on natural frequencies. The effects of the parameters on the vibration modes are summarized in this paper. The model can be conveniently used for the analysis of natural vibration characteristics either in generator structure design phase or for different types of generator units. And it lays the foundation for the analysis of the electromagnetic vibration of the stator end windings.
