Abstract
Based on the requirements of engineering, a static pressure support rotary hydraulic actuator was designed by using the static pressure support technology in the design of the rotary hydraulic actuator. Considering the influence upon static pressure support of variance of liquid resistance which produced by axial clearance, rotational speed and oil temperature of the actuator, corresponding calculation formulas were deduced. Simulation results indicate that variance of liquid resistance, rotational speed of actuator have less influence upon carrying capacity, but oil temperature of actuator has some influence upon carrying capacity. The designed rotary hydraulic actuator has the ability of auto centering, which improves the serve life and control characteristics of the actuator.
