Abstract

The SysML modeling language, with its features such as graphical visualization and unambiguous representation, holds significant advantages in complex product development based on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). However, SysML cannot direct simulate the constructed models of complex products. In contrast, the X language, which is a complex system modeling language supporting seamless integration of complex products modeling and simulation. In order to fully utilize existing SysML models and avoid duplicate development, X language modeling tools need to have the ability of automatic transformation from SysML to X language. This paper proposes a metamodel-based transformation method to convert SysML models into X language models. Firstly, the metamodels of SysML and X language are extracted, and their relationships are analyzed. Then the mapping between SysML and X language is established. Subsequently, a model transformation architecture is implemented on the Eclipse integrated development platform by using the model transformation language ATL.
