Abstract

The existing research of FTA-FMECA (Fault Tree Analysis - Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis) comprehensive analysis method can be classified into two fields: the positive combination and converse combination. This paper firstly describes the principle of converse combination technique, and then puts forward a model of converse FTA-FMECA comprehensive analysis based on Monte Carlo Simulation. Finally, a case of a certain electric power steering (EPS) is given to prove that the model is feasible.
