Research on the comprehensive evaluation model of helicopter RMS and testability

Abstract

Comprehensive evaluation on the availability of the helicopter by studying the reliability & maintainability & supportability (RMS) and the testability is proposed, and the necessity of considering testability based on the RMS is explained. First of all, the indicator system of the availability based on the common parameters of RMS and testability is constructed. Secondly, in order to evaluate the availability of the helicopter, the comprehensive evaluation model by using the analytic hierarchy process and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation from the modern methods on evaluation is established. Finally, automation and visualization of the evaluation by simulating the proposed model with the Matlab development platform are achieved.
